Meet the Mentors – Squint Correction

Punjab Institute of Medical Sciences, Jalandhar organized an event ‘Meet the Mentors – Squint Correction’ on 03-May-2018. The event was organized to acknowledge the social impact made by the services specifically Squint Correction provided free of charge under the initiative – Pediatric Ophthalmology Clinic driven by Department of Ophthalmology, PIMS in collaboration with Fortis Foundation. The agenda of the initiative was to identify and treat children of lower socio-economic group with ophthalmic disorders especially squint. Free services for 6 months were provided by Ophthalmology department, PIMS to needy children and adolescents with visual defects since it’s a critical period for their visual development.
