PIMS embraces the responsibility to positively impact society through activities on Health Education and Awareness. One such initiative by PIMS to impact the society is ‘Run To End AIDS’ organized every year. This time a 5K run was organized to mark World AIDS Day and to spread awareness about AIDS prevention in the city of Jalandhar, open for all to participate. The event was graced by S. Pargat Singh, MLA and Sh. Praveen Kumar Sinha, IPS as Chief Guest and Guest of Honor. Run was a grand success, with participation of 900+ runners from Jalandhar, Hoshiarpur and Amritsar. It’s a great way to support the cause, helping to champion the rights of people living with HIV and raise HIV awareness.
