PIMS introduced a vertical and horizontal Integrated Teaching method by organizing a Symposium on ‘Diabetes’. The event took place on 8th and 9th April, 2015 where students of PIMS gave presentations on varied topics related to Diabetes. The symposium led to organization of teaching matter to unify subjects frequently taught in separate academic courses. It helped in connecting relevant components of the curriculum and relating it in meaningful ways by both the students and teachers. The intent was to bring in different perspectives at a single platform for comprehensive learning.
