MBBS

The duration of MBBS course is four and a half years plus one year of compulsory rotating internship course. The undergraduate course in medicine comprises of various subjects mentioned below:

The compulsory rotating internship lasting for 12 months comprises of postings in Community health, Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Child health, Orthopedics, Emergency medicine and short electives in various specialties. The completion of course leads to award of degree of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) by Baba Farid university of Health Sciences, Faridkot (BFUHS). The course is governed by guidelines of BFUHS and Medical Council of India (MCI).
