CME on Infectious Diseases

CME on Infectious Diseases was organized with joint efforts of Department of Medicine and Microbiology, PIMS and in collaboration of Clinical Infectious Diseases Society of India. This academic event was organized on 1st April, 2017 and was attended by eminent speakers from various institutes of the country including CIDS of India who exchanged their ideas on topics like Acute febrile encephalopathy, Tuberculosis: newer diagnostic trends, role of clinical microbiologist in antibiotic stewardship, changes in clinical scenarios, current guidelines in treatment of Malaria etc. Clinical studies were also present covering the areas like Study of Dengue Fever, issues in diagnosis and management of Swine Flu etc. The knowledge exchange in this conference was highly insightful and enriching experience for participants and spectators.
