Nursing Day Celebration in PIMS

Nursing a pseudonym for care is a profession that facilitates healing and alleviates suffering through love, care and protection. Thus, to acknowledge this noble profession and appreciate all the nurses who selflessly work day and night for the best interest of their patients, PIMS organized an event on Nursing day on May 12, 2016. The event opened with a lamp lighting ceremony by Dr. Kanwaljit Singh, Resident Director PIMS followed by a series of fun filled games and poster making competition. Further, tongue twisters and riddles gave the event a “twist”. Later, Bhangra and Giddha performances by the nurses infused new vibe into the event. The sounds of cheers and whistles defined the extent of enthusiasm among the audience, throughout the celebration.
