Blood Bank

A licensed high end blood bank with whole blood and blood component facilities/apheresis is available in PIMS to cater to the requirements of patients. Blood bank also has apheresis unit for Single Donor Platelet (SDP). It is open for 24 hours and besides the in-patients it also caters to external requests. PIMS blood bank is situated on ground floor near the emergency care unit. All blood is tested for HIV, HBV and HCV, VDRL, as per the protocols.
