The Department of Microbiology operates a well-equipped laboratory performing bacterial, fungal, and mycobacterial cultures along with parasitology and immunology investigations. The department supports institutional antimicrobial policy formulation and infection control activities. Faculty members conduct regular CMEs, provide training to undergraduate and postgraduate students, guide research projects, and publish in national and international journals.
