Established in 2010, the Department of Community Medicine focuses on delivering accessible healthcare to communities while providing practical public health training to medical students. Services are delivered through three rural and one urban Health and Training Centres located at Pasla, Kathar, Raipur Rasoolpur, and Basti Sheikh. Key focus areas include family health, primary care, school and adolescent health, and health education through behavior change communication. Preventive health, immunization clinics, and outreach initiatives such as Nashamukti Abhiyan are regularly conducted.
